Automobile rearview mirror is generally composed of mirror ring, base, mirror shell, support, rotating shaft, mirror base and other parts. The appearance requirements of rearview mirror products are strict, with high configuration and general surface fine grain treatment and low configuration and general paint treatment. According to different models, the rear-view mirror can be divided into split type and integral type. Split type design is adopted for medium and high-grade vehicles and integral design is adopted for low-grade vehicles.


The mold adopts the demoulding mechanism pushed out by push rod + push block + oblique push block, which is a typical structure of the mold for the mirror shell of the automobile rearview mirror. It should be noted that this kind of mold must be designed by hand

Take parts manually. When you need to take parts, break out the plastic parts manually. For this kind of plastic parts, the plastic parts must have swing space. This kind of plastic parts broken by hand are also many in automobile mold design, such as automobile steering column, throttle cover and so on.


For the mold of automobile rearview mirror shell, pay attention to:

1. The parting line of plastic parts is on R, and R is on the fixed moving die respectively. Special attention should be paid to the mold with R half open or 37 open in order to make the appearance clamping invisible during design,

Reduce the dynamic die core by 0.05-0.1mm to avoid segment difference of plastic parts.

2. The stop and fine positioning of fixed and moving die must be designed. Avoid the dislocation of fixed and moving die core and prevent segment difference of plastic parts.

3. When the mirror shell buckle 5 of the mold is designed as a push block structure, the parts must be taken out manually, and there must be swing space when the plastic parts are taken out.

4. Due to the sharp edge of the rubber position of the fixed mold kernel of the mirror shell mold, attention must be paid to the protection during the mold manufacturing. It is best to protect it with opaque adhesive tape to avoid the gap during handling

5. When designing the inclined slider with core pulling along the up and down direction of Z axis, it should be noted that the slope of the front end bottom surface of the inclined slider should be greater than or equal to the angle of the bottom surface of the inclined slider seat to avoid reverse buckle.

6. The design of cooling water and spring of the inclined slider must be parallel to the core pulling angle of the inclined slider to facilitate the processing of the inclined slider. 3. When ordering the inclined slider, it is necessary to order the embryo along the inclined direction of the inclined slider to facilitate subsequent processing.

7. The bottom of the wear block at the bottom of the inclined slider shall be designed to be straight, and the wear block shall protrude to avoid interference with the B plate and the travel stop of the inclined slider when the inclined slider retreats.

8. Since the inclined sliding block should be installed with the fixed die kernel to save the clamping opening, the sliding block should be designed with mushroom head positioning, and pay attention to the design of process screws to facilitate the installation of the fixed die kernel and the inclined sliding block together to save the clamping opening.
